Your homethe place the Hotel Santa Lucía features created in 1859 because of the governor of the province, Don Manuel Vega Dávila. The house remained beneath the Vega relativesfor more thana hundreddecades, and during this time, its wallswere being witnesses of an essential gathering and momentsfrom the Region’s history.
In 1999 the house’s restoration and adaptation commenced to thegenerationof theHotel Santa Lucía; this restoration has preserved and rescued the architecture of thelovelydwellingfor instance of commonpropertiesof your XIX century, incorporating daily comforts together with theallurefrom theprevioustimes.
In 2002, Cuenca awarded the lodge the medal “Fray José Maria Vargas,” for the finest restoration of a historical building making.
Arrived early due to business travel and was allowed to check-in and leave my bags. Wonderful staff that was very nice. It sits a block away from the square so everything is very easy to get to including the city tour bus and several attractions. I would highly suggest staying here for your trip. 4.6 "Great hotel in central location"
Lovely elegant hotel with a central internal patio area and beautifully restored rooms. We had large rooms at the back on the upper floors which were very comfortable. The service was excellent and the location very central. Definitely one we would recommend. From griggs1
