Arturo O’Farrill, musician and executive of New York’s Afro-Latin Jazz Orchestra, was a visitor of honor in the yearly Havana Jazz Festival, in 2010.
Exactly 300 years prior, his Irish predecessor, José Ricardo O`Farrill, arrived in Havana and made a fortune on sugar. Cuba and Ireland have a long, rich history inseparably connected through music.
The courtyard of the pilgrim is a green garden with iron seats for enjoying drinks. You can see the mobility that exists in Cuba Street, without losing the tranquillity inside the Hotel.
The Don Ricardo restaurant located inside the Hotel a landmark in Irish food and the entrance bar decorated with photographs and articles dedicated to Latin jazz. As anyone can expect, this accommodation is the most loved one for the guests of Ireland.
The floors present an old style, but as they rise the styles are more of the XX century.
