The hotel is located 5 minutes from downtown Playa del Carmen, from the state of Quintana Roo, our hotel is located just off the beach of Riviera Maya, the same is certainly a lovely escape for our visitors.

In the Hotel, you can make use of the lounge on the pristine beach and appreciate the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea. Likewise, it can do be swimming – kayaking – diving – sailing, and fishing. You can also take a look at the forest on a horseback ride or ride a thrilling zip-line through the trees.

The hotel has a prime location for diving; Cozumel is just off the coast, and the Global Cancun Airport to 35 miles.

4.6 "Amazing place to vacation"

We came to Grand Velas Riviera Maya in June 2016. The service was friendly and impeccable and the food was fresh and delightful. Our 9 year old LOVED spending time in the kids club where Karla, Natalie, and Maria were so sweet and fun and very attentive to the kids. We liked it so much we just reserved a second visit to come back in November. From Julia2183 Darien, Connecticut. Stayed June 2016, travelled with family.

4.4 "5 star resort easy!"

We stayed here in January of 2014, and somehow I forgot to write a review, and a 5 star review is well deserved for this property! We just visited Cancun again, and wish we would have stayed here again....live and learn. The landscaping, quality of everything around, the room, service, food, pools, bars....all beyond perfect! I can't say enough about this place, and all the other positive reviews on here have pretty much told it all....next time in Cancun this is the only place we will stay!. From radze Columbus, Ohio.
