I agree with Ariana R's review in almost everything. Our bedroom was perfect until one night there was very strong rain and we had a leak from the roof, which I think was difficult to fix during our time there, however as soon as I called reception about that, they promptly sent a person to clean the water from the floor for us. The most annoying thing for us, my parents, husband and I, was the noise coming from the other rooms, it was very bad mostly at night when you want to rest and people in other rooms are making all kind of noises and you can hear everything. Employees were very attentive and nice, also food was very good in the buffet, we could not get a reservation in the restaurant, they do not have an appropriate system to do a reservation, same with the transportation to activities. The transportation service between hotels is awful! In the end we paid about $300 more dollars in transportation to go to different touristic places because they have this other company "Decameron Explorer" which is not helpful at all, until they do not complete a big group for an activity they don't take you anywhere unless you pay a lot for the individual transportation, and in the end is what we did. The hostel is very beautiful, the food is good and the swimming pool is great. But we didn't have a such great stay here because of the organization and staff... We were a group of 18 persons, we arrived at the hostel late, and during the check in they made an error with one of the passport... Then they called all the room during the night from 11 to 12 and at 7 on the morning for this little problem of photocopy... (and for sure we bring the passport on the morning at 8)... They didn't want to wait the morning for this little problem... Then we passed our time here on phone for resolve many problems of organization : we had to pay for an excusrion, then not, and finally yes... The transport was not included, we paid for a private bus and then they told us it was included etc... well a beautiful hostel but we didn't rest at all... always on phone with them to resolve that... and finally no promotion, no commercial offer for the disagremment (and we were socios of decameron). We are pretty sad of this experience, we have to organize more group travel in the future, i think we will never choose decameon any more. From Guill38 Grenoble, France.
