We visited this resort 10Nov14 to 17Nov14 with our son and daughter in law. It was our son's first trip south and we all loved it very much. The staff are amazing! We LOVED Hailey from the animation team. It is a very small resort with one a la carte (which is fantastic) and one buffet which also had great food every day. Breakfast was always delicious and the chef making the bacon and eggs would go out of his way to make your order as you wished. The beach was beatiful. There were 2 days that the surf was rough (red flags) and we were not allowed in the water but we made do. Better safe than sorry. Overall this was a great trip. The rooms were nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We have no complaints and would go back again. This resort has many return guests. We met a lot of people who have been going there for 20 years!!!. The location of the hotel is superb on what must be one of the longest white sand beaches in Cuba. The hotel itself is dated and in need repair, evening entertainment poor and predictable, drink service fair, food typically 'bland' and the staff generally helpful with a good level of English. The rooms are clean, basic with air-con, towels 'rough' and little in the way of shampoo, shower gel etc. Overall, a fairly average hotel with plenty of room for improvement.
