The casa is about good. The room was good, with fridge full of water and drinks and the aircon was working well. The only issue with the room was with water pressure. Although everything was very clean, the water pressure was very low and a bath was a task to take at least twice of the usual time. They inclusively had there a small bucket to help. The golden aspect of this casa is the snorkelling organized by Mayito. We did snorkelling in crystal clear water near Playa Larga. It was great and very beautiful. They inclusively caught fishes to then be cooked on the beach. It was an unforgettable lunch on the beach made with fish caught during that morning. We stays here for 4 days in mid June. Mayito and his family were very welcoming; friendly and helpful. The house is very well set out, with nice areas on the terrace to relax and to have meals outside. The food is lovely, especially the breakfasts. All the rooms have fridges stocked with water, cola, beer and wine (charged at the end of the stay) and the one we stayed in had really good air con (which believe me in June was a godsend). The cost of the food isn't, by Cuban standards, cheap but neither is it expensive (i.e. it is cheap by UK standards) and the quality made it well worth it. It is definitely worth going on a snorkelling trip - we went with Alejandro and his very lovely girlfriend. Had a terrific time. Little drive to the snorkelling beach - maybe 20 mins - as the beach close to the house is nice but the sea isn't very clear. Still great for a refreshing swim though. We also organised a couple of bird watching trips with a guide from the National Park, which were great (bring your bug spray - I got quite badly eaten by mozzies!).
