4.2 "Excellent staff"

Just want to say the staff out there is smashing. Especially, Lady Gym - Mayte, who leads morning, noon and afternoon classes of Yoga, Pilates and Gymnastics in the lovely place called Central Pagoda. If lying on the beach is not the only excercise you dream of during your holidays try to become more flexible with her supervision. She's a real Pro! From Bartholomeo M Warsaw, Poland. 4.2 "Winter Sun"

This was the hotel we chose to relax in after visiting Havana and we were not disappointed. We were given an ocean view junior suite which was tastefully decorated with a modern bathroom, all very clean and well maintained. Good choice of on-site restaurants which needed to be booked in advance but we were offered our choice without difficulty at all. As 5* hotels go, this would struggle when compared to others I have experienced but it is Cuba after all and they are a long way behind in the hospitality stakes. The rules on smoking do not apply and the pollution in the country from their vehicles is frightening so don't venture there if this really bothers you more than seeing Cuba before the Americans get there.
