My wife and I stayed at the Sophia for two nights in early March. Our Superior room was very spacious, with 15 ft high ceilings and a sitting area. The breakfast, included with the room, was very good and the staff was attentive. The pool is small but the views are fantastic and the bar is a nice amenity to have. If you want to stay in the old town and be close to the attractions in Cartagena you should pick this hotel. It is very well located within the walled city only steps away from the Hop on hop off bus station and the port. The hotel is beautiful inside, very comfortable with all amenities available to you. The staff is very friendly but it is helpful if you speak a bit of Spanish to make communication easier. The wifi works very well and breakfast is good. From Los Angeles, California.
