Description

Hotel Inglaterra 3*

Hotel Inglaterra is located on Paseo del Prado opposite Parque Central (Havana’s Central Park). A very important feature of this hotel is the Café the Louvre, where it’s been said that the freedom fighters planned and elaborated the liberation of Cuba from the colony. It’s also the first-ever hotel built in Cuba.

The famous people who have stayed in this colonial hotel are as Lord Winston Churchill among others.

Hotel Inglaterra’s terrace has got an excellent bar/barbecue, offers excellent views of Havana. During the day you can quickly lay back by the Jacuzzi and sunbeds in the solarium; during the evening, you will have to try a few cocktails while listening to its live Trio or Cuarteto singing a few of Cuba’s famous tunes.

3.8 "Charming Hotel in Old Havana"

e stayed for two night at this hotel, breakfast was small but offered some good choices. Rooms are adequate for an old hotel. The location is a plus - everything is within walking distance of Old and Central Havana. I heard that the fried chicken is great but was not available both times when ask. The plaza across the street is lively wit people and entertainment. Great views from the roof top patio. Rooms where not cleaned very well between days spent there. Shower was a little wonky but we made due. From Gord W. Stayed March 2016, travelled with family.

4.4 "Great central place to stay"

A great central place to stay, the reception, dining and terrace are amazing, the food is good and the staff are helpful and friendly. The rooms are a little tired but clean and comfortable. Its a great location to strike out and see the rest of the rest of the city and very close to the Old Town. we felt very safe in Cuba and the sights and sounds need to be visited before it changes too much. From Bornagainteenager Bradford, United Kingdom. Stayed March 2016, travelled as a couple.
