Beautiful building with green and white marble tile and dramatic high ceilings throughout hotel/suites. Service was outstanding and the room was lovely. Perhaps not 4 star by American/European standards but clean, charming, safe, and with a balcony. It had everything we would need for a stay including a full private bath, AC, and a refrigerator. Bar and restaurant onsite - can vouch for the service, coffee, and late night drink. Perfect location in the heart of the city. Excellent value, particularly given the generous breakfast available. Highly recommend and would stay again. Stayed October 2018, travelled with friends.

I can just see Hemingway sipping his mojitos here in the courtyard. I really enjoyed this hotel and the feel of it is second to none. I wish they had better wifi rules however you can't win them all. It is a bit overrated as far as price etc however Cuba is changing quite a lot. From Portland, Oregon. Stayed May 2017, travelled with friends.
