Elegant and charming, with excellent location near the Cathedral and historic city centre. Terrific breakfast, clean and pleasant room with a great view. Well-preserved historic details add character. Helpful and friendly staff. The hotel contributed greatly to making our stay in Bogota a wonderful experience. From Sør-Trøndelag, Norway. The location is central for all the touristy things: museums, Bolivar Sq, etc. The staff was good but Allsion was fabulous. I had a medical issue and while other members of the staff seem a bit mystified at what to do, Allsion immediately got me help. She also gave good advise on restaurants e.g. El Son de los Grillos, where we had two excellent dinners (beware they tend to cook fish well done if you say something). The restaurant in the hotel is just ok as is their breakfasts. But they left more space for great local eateries. Some guests had issues with the hotel's transfers from the airport.
