This multi-building hotel is situated in an Eden-like garden with baby deer, macaws, turtles and lizards roaming around. Small open areas in the garden have oh-so-comfy wicker chairs for lounging. The pool is immense, again surrounded by lounge chairs and tables. There are several excellent restaurants in the hotel and many nearby. The beach is about fifty feet from the hotel with plenty of shaded cabanas for rent from locals. The rooms are quite large, beds very comfortable and kept spotlessly clean.The staff is very friendly though English is a distant language and my Spanish is worse. I stayed at this hotel from Dec 21-27. The staff was incredibly attentive and helpful. The room was clean, bright and secure. The pool area was amazingly beautiful! There are dear, a toucan and a parrot that live on the premises. On my final morning there, I had to leave at 3:00am for an early flight and I was presented with a complementary breakfast.
