3.8 "Hilton Colon Quito"

A very tired old hotel that needs updating. The rooms are very dated and some things in the bathroom do not work properly, even after reporting them to management. Staff is friendly and provides an acceptable level of service. From 560danem Washington, DC. Stayed February 2016, travelled on business.

4.8 "Very nice"

We stayed at the Hilton Colon during the beginning and end of a wonderful guided tour of Ecuador. Staff was very nice. Room was spotless and good-sized with comfy beds, nice bathroom, large flat-screen TV (It was fun watching the shows in Spanish) and coffee maker. The location is in the business district which was bustling with people, shops, a large park and cheap restaurants! (We fed both of us for $2!) The buffet breakfast was good, but could've been better for a 4-star hotel. If you're looking for a clean, modern hotel in downtown Quito I recommend the Hilton Colon.
