Car Hire does NOT included:

Guaranteed deposit: 200 USD to pay locally (Refundable when you return the car).
Insurance: from 20 USD per day.
Extra driver: 10 USD per driver (One off payment per driver, Max 2 additional drivers allowed . Additional drivers will not be able to pick up or deliver the car, receive cash refunds, or request extensions).
Airport pickup: 20 USD.

Note:

The minimum age for Driver: 21 yrs (+ 2 years driving experience recommended).

When booking a Car in Cuba, just book with REX, save yourself a Headache!!!

I have been travelling to Cuba since 2010 and I have tried various rental companies. The guys at Travelfab told me not to choose others however price difference was greater and ended up booking with Cubacar, problems after problem got me tired. I must say they have been a hit and a miss as some cars have been better than others but Rex was consistent and reliable all the time. Tip: make sure you put a credit card as guaranteed deposit. as advice by travelfab. Thank you guys.
